Accessibility
Bible Love should be easy to read and use for everyone.
What the site does
Every page has the same header, a Back button and one main heading, so it is easy to find your way.
Chapter pages have buttons that make the Bible text larger or smaller.
You can switch between a light and a dark theme on every page.
Everything works with a keyboard. A visible outline shows where you are, and a Skip to content link leads past the header.
Text colors were chosen for strong contrast and checked against the WCAG 2.1 contrast guidelines. This is our own check, not a formal audit.
If your device asks for less motion, the photo zoom and other movement are turned off.
Photographs have text descriptions for screen readers.
Search runs in your browser and understands book names, abbreviations and references such as John 3:16.
What is not finished
Bible Love has not had a formal accessibility audit. Some historical readings keep their original old-fashioned wording, which can be harder to read.
